The following terms have the purpose of defining the general conditions of sale established between F. Laginha & Irmão and the customer, from the orders placed on the online store: www.flaginhairmao.com.
Make sure you have received a confirmation email from the email box that you used to place the order. During the process, you will receive other notifications via email. Always check your inbox or spam folder for emails coming from: firstname.lastname@example.org, which may contain important messages regarding purchases info or customer support.
You can pay online by money transfer or MB reference.
Delivery time and processing your order:
After confirmation of payment, we will start to process your order. Depending on stock and customisation of jewellery, our average processing time is from 2 to 10 working days. Should there be any delays, we will contact you directly in order to establish an appropriate period for delivery, never exceeding 25 working days. Then, the item will be sent to the address given by you. All our shipments are registered, including insured door to door delivery, which means your order is safe from any risk during shipping. Your order will be assigned a unique code, revealed to you by email at the day of your shipment, which you can enter it on the carrier's website and track the status online. During the registration process at www.flaginhairmao.com your billing and shipping addresses will be requested. It is important that all data is filled up in a complete and correct way, to ensure successful delivery. For security reasons, we do not ship to PO BOX recipients. All orders are sent from the company headquarters in Loulé - Algarve. During the process, you will receive notifications via email, always check your inbox or spam folder by emails from email@example.com, which may contain important messages regarding purchases info or customer support. Shipping methods, destinations and costs:
We ship to the following countries:
Zone 1 - Portugal mainland: shipping is free on purchases of €150,00 or above, otherwise €9,50 will be added to the purchase price (or exchanged order) for shipping and handling. All orders are registered, including insured door to door delivery, shipped with CTT Expresso service. The estimated delivery time is 24 working hours, after dispatch. If there is no one to receive the order at the recipient address, a document will be left to pick up the order at the nearest CTT Station, within the specific period of time.
Zone 2 - Azores and Madeira, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland: €29,00 all orders are registered, including insured door to door delivery, shipped with FedEx. Expected transit time: 3 days, morning delivery.
Zone 3 - Canada and United States of America: €49,00 all orders are registered, including insured door to door delivery, shipped with FedEx. Expected transit time: 4 days, morning delivery to key business centers.
Zone 4 - South Africa, Australia: €89,00 all orders are registered, including insured door to door delivery, shipped with FedEx. Expected transit time: 5 days delivery to key business centers.
All our shipments are covered by insurance, which means your order is safe from any risk during shipping. Please, when receiving and before signing, always check the condition of the outer packaging that contains the order. For destinations outside the European Union the shipment may be subjected to customs fees, import duties of the destination country, where applicable. F. Laginha & Irmão shall not be liable for this, these charges will always be the recipient's responsibility. Orders declined by recipients will not be refunded.
Exchange your purchase and refunds:
After receiving your order you have 15 days to exchange it or return it. You must send an email to: email@example.com to receive all the indications and info about the process.
You can exchange your purchase or get a refund within 15 days, with the following exceptions:
- we do not exchange or refund gold wedding bands.
- we do not exchange or refund LoveBird cards.
- if the item has been customised with any type of engraving.
- if the item shows signs of wear, damage or resizing.
- if the item does not reach us in the original packaging together with the corresponding warranty and purchase invoice.
- shipping costs are not refundable. Shipping costs will be applied to the exchanged products (if applied).
All items have a 3 year limited warranty, under the terms and conditions of the same:
Defects due to improper or abusive use, normal wear and following situations like: loss, deterioration, oxidation, unsuitable storage and cleaning, improper handling, negligence and accidents are excluded from the warranty. The look of used of jewellery as a result of the daily activity will be considered a normal situation by F. Laginha & Irmão. Jewellery that have been restored with an unauthorized workshop will lose the right of warranty. For warranty purposes, the invoice number or other proof of purchase should be indicated. If you are facing any irregularity, please contact us through our email: firstname.lastname@example.org. F. Laginha & Irmão provides technical service for all jewellery sold online and instore.
Jewellery pieces are delicate objects, we advise:
- avoid contact with water, cleaning agents, chlorine, high temperatures.
- do not apply perfumes, creams and hair products when wearing your jewellery.
- avoid wearing your jewellery when practicing sports, beach or swimming pool time.
- keep your jewels separately, with care, to avoid friction with other pieces.
- Occasionally jewellery can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or milds soap water.
If you have these points into consideration, your jewellery will maintain the original look for years.
Our jewellery is made mainly by manual processes, with high quality raw materials and all are subject to an exhaustive and rigorous production control. By law, all precious metal jewellery that we sell must present the carats, as well as the identification of the manufacturer. The hallmarks can be seen with the naked eye or with the help of a magnifying glass. If in doubt, you can always resort to check it with the Portuguese Official Assay Offices services:

Online orders are made using the SSL Protocol (encryption technology), which guarantees the confidentiality and security of your personal data.
